If there’s a fashion week happening anywhere in the world, Derek Blasberg will find it.

He’s in Tokyo at the moment, and he just tweeted:

Some Tokyo fashion scoop: bumped into the model Irina Lazareanu at a show today and she told me she’s here working on her own fashion line.

Japan birthed Agyness Deyn’s awkward ‘line’ for Barneys Green, but we’re betting on something more personal from Irina.

If she did pair with another label, we’d expect Opening Ceremony, or Phillip Lim, but given her recent lack of modeling but lasting relationships with designers, we wouldn’t be surprised if she was venturing out on her own.

And whatever she does make, we’ll probably want to wear.
