Julianne Moore, Pharrell and Jeff Koons Design for Kiehl’s
By Lauren Sherman
Every Earth Day, Kiehl’s teams up with a few celebrities to design packaging for a product. The proceeds benefit an eco-conscious charity.
Last year, the skincare company raised $100,000 for the Waterkeeper Alliance. This year, it has brought on Julianne Moore, Pharrell Williams, Jeff Koons and pro-surfer Malia Jones to create imagery for its Acai Damage-Protecting Toning Mist.
Kiehls promises that 100% of the proceeds (up to $200,000) will benefit the Rainforest Alliance.
Yes, we’re sick of celebrity designers, too. But at least it’s not clothes. And it’s for a good cause. We’re buying the Jeff Koons one. Mostly because he’s an actual artist. Also because it looks cool.

People say you can't judge a book by its cover…but we can definitely judge products by the cover! I love that they use acai in this product because it is like a miracle berry. Also happy that the moneys going to a good cause. Can't wait to pick some up for myself.http://www.onceuponafad.blogspot.com
