Everyone loves Prada’s Spring 2010 sunglasses. At least in theory.
But come Wednesday, it’s going to take more than a little effort not to shell out for those glossy shades.
Why? Because the Italian fashion house‘s latest eyewear campaign hits Prada.com, and it includes a video shot by Steven Meisel, starring model Raza Zukauskaite and music by Frederic Sanchez in nine languages.
Accompanying the video is a postcard for each pair of sunglasses, capturing the seaside city it evokes.
The Santa Monica (shown) is a pale pink, while the Forte dei Marmi is lime green. Montauk is clear with pink lenses and Biarritz is clear with light grey lenses. Cornwall is transparent grey with orange lenses, and finally, Setùbal is solid black with black lenses.
We’re into the Biarritz. What about you?

I'd say Biarritz too, but I'm biased because I bought them a couple weekends ago…

I think the Santa Monica ones are fantastic. LOVE the pink.
I adore these, and the ad strategy. That pink is glorious. I love how Prada effortlessly swing from refined artistic sophistication to playful artistic quirky.
