Are you an Anna Sui girl? Good news: There’s yet another chance to buy into the New York icon’s beautiful world.
The designer has teamed up with Leg Resource to create a collection of tights inspired by her runway collection. (The hosiery company already produces lines for designers like Anne Klein and Betsey Johnson.)
The range, which hits stores this fall, is priced between $20 and $40 (you might have noticed them on Sui’s Fall/Winter 2010 runway).
Sui should be pleased–these are the kinds of licensing deals that not only help a designer gain exposure on mass level, but also prove lucrative, since they’re typically produced for several seasons.

this seems promising! i'm not the biggest anna sui patron, but her prints and the way she combines them are always fun (like that last picture). just hope they don't get dumbed down too much for the masses!

Honey, much love to Anna Sui cuz she's pursuing her dream and still doing fashion after all these years (even through the recession, mind you), but she does not move me AT ALL.
Her designs always look sloppy and thrown together. She uses a mish-mash of references that never really seem like what they're actually referencing – which, I guess, is a good thing since it's not supposed to be very literal, but whatev – and it always looks like the same thing over and over again. Her clothes (and Betsey Johnson's too, for that matter – but I guess I like BJ a tad bit more) give me expensive Forever 21, DOTS, Rainbow, and Urban Outfitters all mashed together. Ugh, I just don't see it.

Sorry, guys…obviously I was suffering from a MAAAAJOR tandem moment. However, my point still stands…I don't like Anna Sui's designs very much. And I don't envision myself liking her tights all that much, either. That was my point….my baddles. :)
Good thing they weren't made for you, honey. Respect the line, respect the fact that Anna still works out of the fashion district in NYC and respect that the legwear is on another level!! And to bring up stores like F21, DOTS, Rainbow, etc. is pretty ignorant considering that all of their designs are knock offs so of course they'll look the same. Maybe you should stick to Perez Hilton and stay aware from fashion blogs.
