Taylor Jacobson’s Collection for Kasil

Thursday, Apr 15, 2010 / 5:44 PM

Taylor Jacobson left Rachel Zoe’s side last fall.

Since then, she’s popped up on E!, curated a pop up shop for Armani Exchange in LA, and landed an Everyday Minerals campaign.

In February, it was announced she’d be designing a capsule collection for LA based denim brand, Kasil, called “Workshop by Kasil” with its Creative Director David Lim.

The whole look book’s after the jump and it’s stretchy jean after stretchy jean, with a baggy t-shirt and some signature Taylor hair. It’s not terrible, but we know she can do better than this.

Wow, that's remarkably dull.

Taylor doesn't wear jeans enough to know that these are so wrong.

There is something wrong with the whole look. Maybe it's the shoes? Or is it the blouse?

Perfect..!!

wow! totally love this collection. I don't know why people are hating on someone that is doing something..rather than nothing!! i mean… people that are hating… what are you doing that is better? exactly!!! so immature hours. I think Rachel Zoe fans are just band wagon. They need to admit that Taylor is pretty damn good on her own. I wish her the best and i hope she keep showing up awesome new work!!!

THAT'S WHY FOREVER 21 IS GETTING SUED FOR $$$. UMMM SO DO YOUR HOMEWORK. WHOSE RIPPING WHO OFF?

love, love, love!!! SO chic. It's clean and simple, which i think is better. I think it's so funny to see people leave such negative comments. I think Taylor has come a long way to put out her own collection! if people want something to gossip about….. they should talk about Rachel Zoe and her weight problem!!!! i mean hello she weighs 89 lbs.

the shoes are freaken awesome!!!!! it's call style.

well, i own a couple pair of Kasil jeans. The jeans are great!! Taylor collaborated with a great brand. I'm sure she knows what's good.

I looked on other blogs (C'est La Vie, Denimology) and they seemed to really like the collection. It looks great to me…maybe Fashionista is losing their touch?
