Sunshine means shopping fever in New York (and food fever, too) and though it’s cooled off, tomorrow’s full of options.
The best of which is the opening of the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene. They’re throwing a scavenger hunt in honor of their first day back and have a bunch of new vendors to kick start the summer (or spring). Refinery29 has a solid rundown of your best bets. (And they tell you the secrets to a free hotdog).
Meanwhile, Timo Weiland and his design partner Alan Eckstein will be hanging out at Pas de Deux on East 11th Street. They’ll be selling limited edition neckwear, as well as pieces from their AW10 collaboration with Albertus Swanepoel–like the turban at left which beats the turbans here. And if for some reason you’re not in the mood to shop, you can still enjoy champagne and sherbet.
And if you still haven’t checked out Isabel Marant’s new store, do that before running uptown to Barneys to buy the very last pair of Miu Miu bird Mary Jane’s.
