All Saints Opens in SoHo Tomorrow

Thursday, May 20, 2010 / 2:00 PM

British brand All Saints is opening their first New York store tomorrow, located at 512 Broadway.

While Americans may not be familiar with the brand, we can guarantee that it’s worth investigating. All Saints has the perfect mix of ruggedness, edginess, and wearability, not to mention accessible prices.

I visited their showroom earlier in the week, and I am not lying when I say I wanted to leave with everything.

From their soft leather vests to their intricately designed, flowing dresses, All Saints has unique and chic items for everyone.

The quality of each piece is incredible. All prints are hand drawn, leathers soft as babies’ bottoms, fabrics from the same mills as Lanvin. The jewelry, bags, and shoes are stellar, too.

The greatest part is the quality in relation to the price. The most expensive item is a shearling jacket at around $1,000. Most items fall in the $250-$600 range, comparable to most contemporary brands.

There are also men’s and children’s collections, so bring your whole family to the store. You can bet I’ll be shopping the collection tomorrow in SoHo. See you there!

I've driven by their spot on Robertson in LA a few times and I'm scared to go in, I'll want it all as well. But I can't wait until I do!

I just love All Saints. I'm Irish and we have an outlet store near me, and I too am sometimes afraid to go in because I know I will want everything too.

“Most items fall in the $250-$600 range, comparable to most contemporary brands.” Um…call me cheap, but I think that's pretty expensive.

It's cheap when compared to a $3,000 dress. We're not saying it's a steal–just that it's more feasible for a lot of people.

I love my $3000 Balenciaga frocks, thank you very much.

Me too, Ian. Me, too.

Does anyone know what time the SoHo store opens tomorrow?

Those shoes are spectacular– can't wait!

I called up and they said they should be open at 10 am.

Its $300-$600 worth of Rick Owens, Haider Ackermann and Demeulemeester knockoffs.

How exciting! I have been following AllSaints for years now, but never shopped. Love their clothes!

I love the quality of materials they use. I bought a great, weird cardigan recently and it's a silk/cotton blend. The same edgy styles at most stores would be made out of much cheaper fabrics. I'm eagerly awaiting their San Francisco store (though the LA store, at least, has less stuff than their website).

I'm with Layer and Swath, not to mention Vivienne Westwood. They love knocking her off. I mean if you really like that look, wait for the real Rick Owens jacket to pop up on eBay for the same price as the All Saints knock off . . . which is what I did.
