The Twitterati are buzzing with news around tomorrow’s Chanel Resort 2011 show in St. Tropez. Fashionologie reports that according to Lisa Tant, editor-in-chief of Canadian fashion pub Flare, the show’s models include both Georgia May Jagger and Crystal Renn.

We’re not surprised by either choice. Georgia May is a fashion darling, Crystal is a global darling, and they’re both undeniably gorgeous.

But here’s what we’re really thinking about:

Could the inclusion of a size 10 model in a Chanel show be an indication of real change in the industry?

We’d like to think so. Lagerfeld isn’t the type to jump on a bandwagon so long after its initial arrival. Renn’s been posing regularly in high fashion spreads for years–her industry presence is inarguably more than a fad.

Here’s hoping that by next year at this time, the idea of a model larger than a size 0 walking a runway show won’t be news.
