Finally, as we headed out of the boudoir-like dressing room, Candy handed Ali and me each a list of the dresses, shoes, and accessories we fancied, printed in the most perfect handwriting I’ve ever seen. (Candy needs to start a side business.)
Regardless of whether or not I buy my dress from J.Crew, I’ll be going to back to the bridal boutique to purchase a least one piece for my wedding day wardrobe. If you’re engaged, you should visit, because this was seriously one of the best shopping experiences of my life.

My mum completely tossed her idea of having a demure second wedding (in a sleeved, short DVF dress) as soon as she saw J.Crew's wedding section. Reading your previous wedding dress article just now it sounds like you may be doing the exact same thing. They really must be doing an amazing job.
You know, I already bought my bridesmaid dresses, and because my ideas for a dress are so specific (knee length, bracelet sleeves), I think going custom is best for me. But really, that place is incredible.
Although the thought of planning a wedding scares me half to death (I've told my boyfriend we're eloping, if anything), I have to admit the simplicity and affordability of JCrew wedding dresses makes me think… I just might be strong enough for a wedding!
