« Welcome Back: Peter Lindbergh in Vogue After 18 Years

Wednesday, Jun 16, 2010 / 5:25 PM

A new woman, alone, on the street, in a loose suit, Vodianova embodies liberation in this image. She walks on an unglamorous street, a Honda parked in the background, glancing away from the viewer, uncertain.

The narrative of this story has really become a statement on a woman’s place in the world, if the world was 1963. Still, portraying emotion is a new direction for Vogue, so we’ll pat them on the back for that.

I must say I did like this spread. Lately I'm not loving US Vogue, nor do I care much about celebrity editorials, but I do like Natalia. And this ed was quite entertaining, and the whole happy marriage-affair-runaway theme was well executed. How could anyone leave Ewan though??http://jesuispretty.blogspot.com

wow! Impressively detailed breakdown of the spread! I love Peter Lindbergh; the glamazon biker-chick spread in Sept. 1991 rocked my world.

I like

great breakdown and beautiful editorial! I'm impressed US Vogue
