Breaking: Olivier Zahm is Writing a Book About Carine Roitfeld
By Lauren Sherman
Purple‘s Olivier Zahm is working on the first biographical book about Carine Roitfeld, set to be published by Rizzoli in the fall of 2011.
All we can say is: Ahhhh!
Since it’s Zahm–and Rizzoli–we’re assuming the tome will be image-heavy. Not that we’re complaining. We received the following correspondence announcing the news and another tidbit of info that made us squeal with delight:
Dear Bloggers,
We have noticed that you frequently feature Carine Roitfled on your website.
Olivier Zahm is currently working on the first biographical book about Carine Roitfeld, to be published by Rizzoli in the Fall of 2011.
We would love to include questions from the blogosphere in this book.
We invite you bloggers to send a personal question to Carine which she will selectively answer in her forthcoming book.
Please send your questions to: _______
Rizzoli Editor
We hope she answers our question! What do you want us to ask?

I have no idea what to say about this. I am a bit curious to know more about this but since this be this will be about carine by the one and only Oliver of Purple magazine.
AMAZING!!! I can barely keep up with a wardrobe due to the overwhelming fashion sensation my book shelf holds! I have way too many questions for this one. LOVE!
Agreed. 'Ahhhh' is all I can come up with too!
Although I have always wondered how Carine feels when she sees pictures of Olivier is perving on her daughter…
my question would be;
why would you agree to have OZ be involved in your biography when you comport yourself with dignity, poise and grace. He is vile.
Ooh no but the above wouldn't be my question!
My question would be:
If there was one thing you could change about our industry, what would it be?
or

Ok this book will definitly be on my coffetable. I hope it's oversized with loads for fab photos. Love her and her style.
I know, ask her why she repeatedly uses the same models over and over again on Vogue Paris covers! Failing that, ask her whatever happened to her creative flair!
What do yoiu really think about brazilian fashion designers? Do u hava a favorite? Have you ever used some clothes made in Brazil?
because oliver and carine are very close friends
This has nothing to do with your comment, but I was reading the post from two months ago about the lady going through chemotherapy and she had a shaved head and such, and I read your post and it said that you suffer from trichotillomania, and I do too! I'd love to contact you somehow. I actually just shaved my head this summer, so I didn't know if you wanted to know what it was like or something. My e-mail is kaseyhermens@yahoo.com.
