Well done, Vogue!

The October issue of the American glossy will feature starlet Carey Mulligan, coinciding with the September 24 release of her first big blockbuster Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. She was shot by Peter Lindbergh, so expect a cinematic feel to the spread.

We love Carey–she’s not only fresh, but she’s got a great sense of style, and we’d actually like to read a profile on her. We’re hoping Jonathan Van Meter is the journo on this story.

Someone interesting, finally!

It's spelled Carey.

It's spelled Carey.

I've really started to enjoy reading Vogue much more lately– this announcement makes me hope their magazine is finally becoming relevant again! Thank God it's not another generic super-starlet.

Thanks ela – we caught it.

I love her! Well done Vogue indeed

I can live with this. I like Carey Mulligan a lot

Anna finally got AN EDUCATION and smarten up about the cover choices.More to come…

Seriously. No offense to Blake Lively or anything, but there is no doubt that someone with such grace, poise, and sense of style should be on the cover of Vogue. I'm just bummed its not for another 2 months!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Vogue. I was tired of the same generic blond actresses that keep getting recycled every 6 months. Seriously. This has been your most interesting cover choice in years. And, no, I dont count political wives as interesting. Please retire Reese, Nicole, Jennifer, Kate, Renee, Angelina, or whoever else has been regurgitated to death on that cover.

I could not agree more, you simply said it all!

a breath of fresh air. Can't wait!

dont forget Gwyneth! hhah too right you are.
