The new Fashion’s Night Out website launched today and it’s pretty impressive. You can browse and search every New York event listing and even create your own itinerary.
You can also narrow the 51 pages of listings down by New York neighborhood, category (men, women, beauty) and/or specialty (block party, celebrity, food). But if you’re looking for, say, ten or so events that are most likely worth checking out, look no further. We reviewed each and every page to bring you the ten FNO events we’re most looking forward to.

It rained out last year and I was so tired from running around I slept in and just read the twitter updates from everyone. But it looks super amazing this year, and hyped and organized and in other cities!!! I think I will hit up some!
Any tips for where to go to avoid the crowds? These all sound like BIG places that will be jam-packed!
Are there big lineups to get into these events? Are the mostly invite only? Just not really understanding how it all works.
Dhani, your diligence amazes in compiling this list. Ain’t it extraordinary that Naomi has spent 25 years in the biz (she doesn’t look a day over 27)! If you don’t wish to inspire a legion of gatecrashers, some idea about who is welcome, how to get an invite etc might help.
Nope, they are open to everyone–no invite necessary!
There are big queues but not a guest list–you just show up. It’s kind of like a fair, but instead of standing in line to gawk at a a weird carny, you gawk at a fashion person/celebrity.
Thanks. Spoiled for choice then.
Not the Teen Vogue block party on Bleecker? Um, WHAT?
