A short, pleated skirt. Cropped blazer. Thigh high stockings. Boysenberry lips. And curved heel boots. I want these items to fill my fall wardrobe. They also happen to complete the vision of Proenza Schouler‘s Fall 2010 ad campaign.

Shot by Daniel Jackson and styled by Marie Chaix, twins Ann and Kirby Kenny and model du jour Tati Cotliar are looking pretty damn perfect.

i love the egyptian pose.

love the razor cut clean lines … feminine and edgy

Holy photoshop. What, did she temporarily remove her insides for this shot?

that is exactly what i was thinking!

so loving this collection. the harmony korine-proenza shots that were on the nowness website are even cooler (if that’s possible)! http://www.nowness.com/day/2010/8/9/859/proenza-schouler-through-harmony-korines-lens

wow… how are people even condoning this ad? she looks disgustingly thin.

“Shot by Daniel Jackson and styled by Marie Chaix.” Photoshopped by aliens.

She looks like the Svedka Vodka Robot “Hottie”

The sad thing is, I didn’t even notice anything strange about her body any of the times I saw this ad until I read these comments…in any case I still “want to be the girl” in Proenza, but only if I can keep my spleen.

Exactly…I’d like to be this girl, except I’d like to keep my stomach please.

Oh my Lord, here we go again… this is such a sad ad, I can’t even focus on the clothes because I’m so terribly disturbed by her physique.

You guys!! Her hips are twisted like crazy making her already small waist line APPEAR teeny tiny because her hips are faced forward with her shoulders twisted toward the camera. I see this often in photographs of skinny models. (The lack of a waist) I think she looks natural: very tall and skinny.. just like we like our models..
