Nanette Lepore: When you’re ready to put away the more buttoned up looks of Rachel and Tory and you’re off to the Hamptons or that early spring beach getaway (follow me on this fantasy, people), Nanette Lepore is your lady. Completely relaxed and beachy, her collection continued the raspberry, orange, and yellow theme that has been popping up all over this week. Unapologetically feminine, skirts had apron ties and ruffles were strategically placed on hems and necklines. White eyelet was gorgeous on a blouse and dress, and a pair of raspberry and lavender bloomers were pure cuteness. High-waisted vintage inspired swimwear still looks fresh. The tall sandals were colorful and had a bit of fringe on the back of the heel, a la the YSL Palais. I think the best part of this show was that Stanley Tucci was front row. So random.
