save for the first dress, I think you’ve perfectly pointed out how overrated Lanvin is!

Yes, those leather men’s sandals covered in colourful silky knots, reminiscent of friendship bracelets. I am still so sad I didn’t splurge on them. Does H&M makes shoes? Whatever. I will be covering some havaianas with embroidery floss if I can’t find a pair, real or fake, by next summer.

I love your optimism in thinking that a collaboration with H&M will produce garments which in any way resemble these.

is everyone so cynical? i’ll wait to see what the collaboration produces. hoping for the ruffles & would love to see some animal statement necklaces.

Would be nice to see you do a top mens lanvin looks you would want to see. Im personally hoping for bow-ties!

What about that first piece in their Spring 2009 collection?????? The first ten looks were killer….

Key word: Translated. We’d like to see TRANSLATED for H&M.

the leopard NEEDS TO HAPPEN. But I think it will.

H & M needs to be available via internet sales! It is nice to view the items but get updated so we can purchase on the web site!!!

I walked into the ladies’ section at H&M the other day and it struck me that the clothes, in a few cases, already have a noticeable Alber inspiration. I think it’s completely realistic to translate Lanvin into mass market stuff, everyone is already doing it anyway.

It’s true, isn’t it? Has nobody noticed that all their competitors are a decade ahead of them?
Although, maybe they feel they don’t need it, but it seems to be Urban Outfitters makes a killing on their online sales in cities where there’s no shop. High School kids with their parents credit cards must be their bread and butter.

While I was so underwhelmed by the products of Alexander McQueen for Target, I am so excited for this collaboration. Lanvin is simple and luxurious, feminine and elegant…

The easiest Lanvin re-creation for H&M would have to be the oversize tulle and pearl ribbon necklaces. AND people would certainly buy them by the armloads.
