You can’t get much chicer than a silk button-down blouse. Ever since I saw Clémence Poésy in this photo (left), I’ve been on the lookout (and that was at least a couple years ago so it’s been a while). Luckily, there are tons to choose from right now–from classic styles made by Equipment and Elizabeth and James to printed ones by Rachel Comey and Rag & Bone.
Take a look.

great selection! the chloe and the row are my favorites…their pricing…not so much ;)
Seriously, look for “vintage silk button down, 1990s” on eBay and you’ll find a ton of good ones. I got a JCrew one for $10 and I love it–wore it several times during FM.
great idea! thanks :)
Not a huge fan, but I am willing to try it. It’s a different look, at least, and it all depends on what is worn with the blouse. A headband makes you look like Blair Waldorf. A men’s black tie would punk it out. A sexy pencil skirt would flirt it up.
Maybe I like this trend more than I thought …
