Rodebjer

Rodebjer: This label is designed by Carin Rodebjer, an FIT graduate. She returned to Sweden in 2001, where she went on to be named Designer of the Year by Swedish Elle in 2002 and 2005. She is now moving back to NYC to try to capitalize on her success and push it to the next level; she wants to get inspired by how Americans dress.

Her S/S 2011 collection, was inspired by the beach and nautical elements. Everything looks deceptively simple on the hanger but the pieces really come alive when they’re worn. The orange and yellow batik prints and a drapey collared cardigan are to die for.
