Swedish fashion is so much more than H&M (though of course we love H&M). There are some amazing independent Swedish labels out there creating beautiful and innovative designs. We recently got to see several S/S 2011 collections whose designers hail from Sweden.
While one shouldn’t generalize about the aesthetic of an entire country, the three labels we saw show that simplicity doesn’t mean boring. Draping, minimalism, and strategic pops of color really make these clothes stand out.
