The Story: Weekday is a Sweden-based retailer, best known for its Cheap Monday brand of denim, priced at about $60 per pair and available at places like Barneys and Urban Outfitters in the US. But the stores themselves, bought by H&M a couple of years ago, sell plenty more than jeans. Along with contemporary brands like Acne and Filippa K, Weekday also sell its own line of impossibly affordable, impossibly cool apparel for both men and women. What’s more, several stores have plentiful vintage sections. Unfortunately there are no Weekdays outposts in the US…yet.
The Pros: Cool, affordable clothes mixed in with pricier brands that are still within reach.
The Cons: Core collection doesn’t offer the best fit; limited availability.
