Gee, the British royals really are tight with money. Given that Ms Middleton’s relationship with the heir to the heir of the throne made her unemployable (except in the Middleton family business), lets hope the fact that her family is footing part of the bill means no invitations to distant freeloading royal relations, obscure heads of state, decrepit courtiers and suchlike. Harry Smith talks to Katie Nicholl, royal correspondent and author of “Beyond the Palace Walls” about the significance of Westminster Abbey for the wedding of Prince William and Katherine Middleton.
