Best Dressed: Carey Mulligan, SJP and Birthday Girl Alexa Chung

Carey Mulligan accepted Harper’s Bazaar‘s Best Dressed Woman of 2010 award wearing this Preen number. Sienna Miller glammed it up in Stella McCartney. We had to include one of our faves Alexa Chung because it’s her birthday! And she looked adorable in a Margaret Howell sweater, 3.1 Phillip Lim shorts and Prada shoes. Sarah Jessica Parker looked put together in Ralph Lauren at his party for Gloria Vanderbilt. Finally, Natalia Vodianova, despite hairy legs, looked perfect in this Balmain.

That Stella is UNREAL (reminding me of a specific dress from McQueens final presentation) but sienna’s hair and makeup.. and pose are doing her no favors. She’s looking like Casey Johnson (may she rest.)
It’s gorgeous. I am usually unimpressed with Sienna, but Stella has made her a real star.
I will say that, like Tonne Goodman, I think Sienna is infinitely more gorgeous with her hair up/short, I just wouldn’t have recognized her through the maquillage.

I think the hairy legs actually adds to the look. Its sort of taking the whole doc martens and a party dress idea one step up.
I like Carey Mulligan’s outfit – maybe it’s the blue shoes or just her fresh-faced appeal. Can’t spot Natalia’s hairy legs (she’s not even showing much leg – how did you spot it?) . I am sure IRL the gown looked spectacular, but she actually looks like she’s channelling Joan Collins circa 1985. Given that she has a sort of drag queen look, is a supermodel and doesn’t shave her legs, I’m going to have to give the best look to Natalia.
Um, of COURSE Sarah Jessica Parker is on this list. And how absolutely STUNNING is her look? Wow.
