Haute in the Kitchen: Adorable Aprons, Clogs, and Hankerchiefs to Wear While You’re Cooking Thanksgiving Dinner
By Lauren Sherman
I like to cook, but my other half loves to cook. And he’s not lazy about it, which means my responsibilities are few and far between. That is, except for Thanksgiving dinner. I love cooking on America’s holiday because I learned the recipes from my grandma, with whom I was very close. I also love it because it’s the only major holiday I can think of that’s not about buying anything except food and booze.
But if you do like to shop–and cook–then consider this:
You don’t have to look like crap in the kitchen. Anthropologie makes some adorable aprons, and your kitchen clogs can be prettier than Crocs. Oh, and keeping your hair away from the food doesn’t require mesh netting. Try some cute kitchen accouterments so that you don’t even have to change when the guests arrive.

I have the Baker’s Delight Apron! My mother bought me and the smaller version (for my niece when she’s older) at TJMaxx, for like, half the price.
Lauren, no wonder you are in love with your guy – he cooks too! The complete package! The apron would look much cuter on you though.
