Lovely reader Kristen tipped us off this weekend that Lanvin x H&M had taken eBay by storm–and not in a particularly good way.
Currently–along with the less-crazy prices of $300 for the pink one-shoulder dress and $150 for a pair of shoes–there’s a t-shirt posted on the site at a Buy It Now Price of $1,559.64 (converted from GBP 999).
We love the line, and totally get that there will be markups on eBay, but really? A $1,000 for a t-shirt? At that point, you might as well go buy yourself a Lanvin collection dress.

I can imagine him/her sitting in a damp room staring at a dimly lit computer screen in the wee hours of the night pounding away feverishly on the worn down keys of a fully loaded MacBook, wearing a one-piece sweatsuit, limited edition Uggs/Crocs/or some other equally unappealing footwear, and a Snuggie, eating microwavable Kraft macaroni and cheese that’s cooled down and recongealed, while his/her overweight tabby cat nudges up against him/her. This, while World of Warcraft runs in another window.

Whenever the evil H&M buyers these days cop the collection and sell it at double or tripple,there is always a ton of leftovers even years after. I still find Stella’s and Jovovich Hawk stuff from H&M and Target online!!!
Lauren, is that dress in the thumbnail for your “Lanvin for H&M: the Full Collection” the same tobacco colored New Look dress you picked up? It’s one of my favorites!

If you really wanted to buy this shirt I know a way to get it half price!!! Or even 80% off! I have been playing around on a pre-paid Visa and giftcards auction site! I won a $200 Visa for $8.50 this morning!
