Execs at Hermes told French newspaper Le Figaro that they aren’t happy about LVMH’s sudden interest in the luxury group.

“The family has clearly and unanimously said: If you want to be friendly, Mister Arnault, you need to withdraw,” said Bertrand Puech, a fifth-generation descendant of founder Thierry Hermes.

LVMH denies that they’d like to acquire the company, of which they bought over $2 billion in shares last month. But it’s obvious that a hostile takeover isn’t completely out of the question.

The OnePiece is, as the name implies, a one piece sweatsuit type thing out of Norway. The brand describes the garment as “unique lifestyle leisureware, all about the chill out.” It’s priced between £80 to £120, comes in bright colors, bold patterns, and is marketed to young snowboarder types rather than couch potatoes. As the photos on the site indicate, if you’re a hot young Norwegian who likes to goof around on the slopes or in a shopping cart, the OnePiece is for you. The site even notes that it’s the perfect get up for recovering from a hangover. Agreed.

OnePiece recently launched in the UK where it’s developing something of a celeb/fashiony following. Melanie Rickey, Grazia’s fashion editor-at-large, recently picked one up in Norway and tweet pic’ed her purchase noting, “Today I got this from Norway. Tomorrow I’m sending my slanket to Oxfam.” Sadie Frost and Peaches Geldof have been spotted in the onesy. According to the Daily Mail, Frost says she’s dolling them out for Christmas this year. Of course, we’ve already noted that Scandinavian brands are having a moment.

We went gaga over Stella McCartney’s kids clothes for Gap. Now the top designer has created an underage collection for her own brand. (You can buy it on Stellamccartneykids.com.) We’re already plotting ways to make these clothes work for our adult bodies.

And if you were wondering whether Stella would be upping the price point to an unreal number, the answer is no. The clothes aren’t cheap, but they’re not too expensive either. (Think $57 for a pair of jeans, $72 for a silk-cashmere blend cardigan.)

Stella McCartney Kids launches today. And if this video is any indication, these are the most adorable children’s clothes ever to be produced.

Monday’s naag.com launch party at Mary Queen of Scots felt less like a “fashion party” and more like a bunch of cool kids hanging out at a hip LES bar–in a good way.

If you’re wondering what naag.com is, I think it is best described on the site’s Who We Are page: “Naag is Fiona and Aggy and our friends. Talking about things we live and do and see and feel. We live in New York and like to hang out.”

That also pretty much sums up the party. And if its attendees were any indication, their friends are people like Karen Elson, Coco Rocha, Seth Meyers, Christian Siriano, Becka Diamond, Rebecca Minkoff, Eddie Borgo, and, according to the tip sheet, an incognito Marion Cotillard. To compliment the venue’s British theme, AllSaints sponsored and Agyness was dressed head-to-toe in the UK-based brand.

If you couldn’t tell, we just can’t get enough of Lanvin Hearts H&M!

From the incredibly produced video to the special editors pre-sale event, we’re head-over-heels for Alber’s newest venture. H&M and Lanvin seem to be just as excited as we are, because they’ve created a ton of content to keep buyers and bloggers busy swooning over. The unsung hero of today’s Lanvin-apalooza is the stellar look book starring Irina Lazareanu.

Showing each look styled to perfection in an opulent hotel room, Irina gives Jamie Bochert’s SS10 Lanvin ads a run for their money in the category of most dramatic.

Here we’ve compiled our favorite looks from the lookbook that we’ll be emulating when we get our hands on Lanvin Hearts H&M.

Today Glamour magazine announced the winners of its 20th annual Women of the Year awards. There are two honorees from the fashion industry and not a whole lot of surprises. The methodology behind Glamour‘s choices seems to involve a ratio of fame, successful projects and charitable undertakings.

Donatella Versace is among ten winners from the worlds of entertainment, business, sports, fashion and politics. Other winners include December cover girl Fergie, Cher, Julia Roberts and Queen Rania of Jordan. Glamour is also giving “special recognition” to 20 young women who are “already changing the world.” Everyone’s favorite 14-year-old blogger, Tavi Gevinson, is one of them.

Kanye West was named “Stylemaker of the Year” by the Accesories Council last night at Cipriani. He gave an amazing acceptance speech and Vulture transcribed the whole thing. It’s too good not to quote in full (but I’ve bolded the best parts):

The concept of commercialism in the fashion and art world is looked down upon. You know, just to think, “What amount of creativity does it take to make something that masses of people like?” And, “How does creativity apply across the board?” Why, if someone is good in one field can they not be accepted or given the slightest opportunity to express and be creative in other fields? I thank Marc Jacobs so much for giving me the opportunity to design a shoe for Louis Vuitton, but the thing that broke my heart most was when they said, “You’re finished. The shoe’s finished.” When it was ready it was like the dream of putting together the fabric and having the energy that I knew of being a street kid, of being a boy out of Chicago, and enjoying every day and the way I can connect with this. It’s like, you can’t play the video game anymore. And that’s what it’s about. So many people in this room, they can’t even go on vacation without being creative. They can’t sit on the beach, they have to create constantly. And that’s how I feel with this album coming out.

No wait, there’s more…

Lanvin x H&M hits stores worldwide on November 23. However, on Nov. 18, New York fashion editors will attend a runway show featuring the “haute couture” collaboration. (At least that’s how the invitation reads.) It’s all happening at the Pierre Hotel, as we previously reported.

But here’s the new news:

Carmex. It’s one of the best beauty products around and it wasn’t dreamed up in some expensive lab after years of research, it’s got no exotic hard to find ingredients, and there’s nothing French about it. Carmex was created in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and since 1937, it has been soothing the chapped lips of everyone who has to experience the indignity and unpleasantness of winter. If you’ve ever endured the 20-below-zero windchill of a Chicago winter, you know what I’m talking about. It’s hell on the skin and especially the lips.
