I didn’t like any of the choices offered in the article, not for Kate. They were either too subdued or inappropriate for a formal royal wedding. I’d love to see what Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen might do for the occasion.

Westwood or Sarah Burton for Mcqueen, absolutely should be a British house.
It definitely will be a British designer, you can bet on that. It would be frowned upon to look to international designers to make her dress, especially when the wedding will be at the expense of the British taxpayer in times of austerity. Also I agree with Natalieo, you have put forward a very poor selection of suggested dresses, most would be considered wholly inappropriate for a royal wedding.
