Blingy and Embellished: While there weren’t as many blinged out styles as in years past, there was still plenty to go around. Burberry did a check and stud motif that was actually more toned down than it sounds. Versace, never one to be too subtle, had plenty of adornment and bright colors. Bulgari embedded huge colored stones in the temples. Tiffany worked in their new rhinestone-covered key motif. Dolce & Gabbana did some amazing animal prints and gold. Chanel was the winner for most gimmicky: one pair comes complete with a pop-out mirror.
