Sofia Coppola is my style icon. I love every, single thing she’s ever worn on the red carpet, mostly because she dresses for herself and no one else. One secret dream of mine–other than owning a Sofia Coppola x Louis Vuitton bag–is that she create another clothing collection. A sequel to her 1990s line MilkFed, perhaps? A spin on her piece for Lutz & Patmos? Last night I stood on the red carpet at the Lanvin x H&M runway show to ask her just that. And she answered me, wearing a dotty button down, fur coat, cropped trousers and simple ankle-strap heels. Swoon. (Also, if you could please forgive the pathetic quality of the video–it was a spontaneous moment!–I’d be much obliged. Figured you’d like to see it no matter how goofy it looks.)
