So Blake Lively is covering Vogue‘s first-ever Best Dressed supplement, draped in a gorgeous Reed Krakoff dress. We love the brand extension, but do we love the choice of cover model?

Here’s the thing. We actually do like Blake Lively. We think it’s silly that she claims to not use a stylist, but that doesn’t mean we don’t think she’s pretty and lovely. But Lively’s covered Vogue twice recently, and she’s the last star we feel should symbolize Vogue‘s best dressed list.

It seems that Ms. Wintour–whom we respect and admire, despite the awful photoshopping that goes on in her magazine–has a bit of an obsession with Lively. One Vogue source says Anna tries to use her in anything and everything she can. However, another says that “Anna doesn’t ever come off as obsessed about anything.”

Regardless, there is good to be culled from Anna’s girl crush: curves. Unlike the Eastern European models Vogue has favored in the past, Lively is real person, with a semi-normal body.

She’s like a total snoozefest. Nothing interesting about this girl apart from her legs and breasts, which she keeps showing to the point that they bored me already.

Her fashion sense is like zero. Most of the time she copies all the look from runway from head to toe, and even that sometimes she failed miserably (Vivienne Westwood peeking shirt, remember?)

Why Anna is so obsessed with this girl is beyond me.

I just love her. She is just a very hot woman. Glad she is on the cover!!

I think I would respect Blake Lively as an “actress” if I could understand what she was saying. Whenever she opens her mouth, all I hear is Shy Ronnie. “mumble, mumble, mumble.” Use ya words girl and stop speaking from the back of the throat.

i have a love/ hate relationship with blake. i honestly think she’s annoying in her acting and the way she talks. i mean… girl, get the lemons outta your mouth!!! I CAN’T UNDERSTAND YOU! on the other hand, i think she’s cute and holds some kind of charisma that other very talented girls (blake is NOT one of them) don’t. it all comes down to charisma, i guess.

i ADORE Blake Lively. i love her personality and i LOVE her style and the dresses she wears to red carpet events…and i LOVE&ADMIRE her as Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl. Blake KNOWS what kind of clothes look best on her and what kind of clothes she can pull off…because i haven’t seen a one “MISS”, all her event dresses, daily outfits and the way she wears BLAZERS with TIGHT SKIRTS and TANKS are ALWAYS a “HIT” i seriously ADORE HER. and i don’t think that Anna choosing Blake Lively for the cover of Vogue issues and the BETS DRESSED issue…i dont think its odd or weird at all. i think that Blake deserves && deserved to be on every single magazine she covered. She’s MY fashion icon and im sure she is a fashion icon to many others as well. :)

The thing is, she´s natural, talented and EVERY SINGLE THING dresses perfectly in her… She´s not the prettiest one, but her style is wonderful! Looooove Blake.

anna wintour is SO boring! i cant believe she favors blake over leighton. she is so obsessed with the “clean, all-american, blonde, smiley, sailor-background, home-in-the-hamptons” aesthetic that she hasn’t actually represented fashion in years! where is the fun, the obsession, the crazy, heady insane fun in american vogue? reading it seems like a chore. i became sick of anna and her stupid, boring choices a long time ago. give me franca sozzani, dasha zhukova and the bloggers any day!
