Sick of shopping for others already? Want to score something for yourself? Live in New York or Los Angeles? Then you're in luck:
Mackage, the Canadian outerwear brand known for cool coats that don't break the bank, is opening its first US brick-and-mortar store in New York City. To celebrate, they're hosting an opening event tonight as well as a shopping event on Saturday, December 4.
The shopping event will take place at their new store on Mercer Street in SoHo. Customers who spend $150 or more will receive a fancy leather case. (It's a pretty nice gift, we must say.) They'll also get a chance to chat and be fitted by Mackage founders Elisa and Eran.
On the opposite side of the country, Decadestwo.1, Decades' consignment kid sister, is hosting its 7th annual Chanel event at their Melrose flagship store.
On December 11, Decadestwo.1 will present their largest selection of Chanel clothing and accessories, including an assortment of Chanel's much-coveted quilted-handbags, as well as hundreds of pieces spanning from the late '90s to the present.
Decadestwo.1 is also collaborating with Hautelook, offering discounted ticket entry to the exclusive VIP presale that takes place on December 10 on Melrose. (Unless you're on the VIP list, this is the only way to get into the presale.) Buying a $50 coupon on HauteLook December 5 or 6 will get you a first-in-line ticket, as well as a $100 gift certificate, which can be used at the event.
For those of you who are not in LA, you still have a chance at purchasing some Chanel. Decadestwo.1 will also be presenting an assortment of Chanel pieces on their new website December 11 through the 18. And, if you're a little short on extra cash and can't see yourself buying Chanel handbag anywhere in the near future, no worries. The store is offering one lucky winner a Chanel handbag from the Spring 2008 collection, via their Facebook page.
