As Tom, himself, stated, it looks like every looks was created with that specific woman who modeled it in mind. Even in these small photographs, I can definitely see the quality of the materials. They looks utterly divine. The styling is on point down to the most minute detail – hair, makeup, accessories, everything. He definitely has a vision, and it’s most definitely powerful.

The ONLY problem I think that I have with this is just that many of the looks, the overall silhouettes looks strikingly similar. BUT, then again, Tom Ford has never really been an experimental or avant-garde designer, so I guess it’s all good.

Stella Tennant…I can’t even put into words how phenomenal she looks.

That girl has got the genes. Have you ever read about the Mitford sisters Ian? One is Stella Tennant’s grandmother (and Duchess of Devonshire, like Kiera in the movie) another is Daphne Guinness’ grandmother. My favorite one was a famous novelist, and yet another was a famous girlfriend of Hitler. Basically some of the most important women of the 20th century, and fascinatingly fashionable and funny women. Worth reading anything you can about them.

I jumped on Amazon.com as soon as I read this…I’ll be purchasing whatever I can find. I knew I loved you for a reason.

And your blog? Fire.

I have a feeling we’d be great friends.

Haha! A tip, Mary S. Lovell’s biography of all the sisters is the best, but Nancy Mitford’s novels “The Pursuit of Love” and “Love in a Cold Climate” are fantastically hilarious reads. Jessica Mitford’s biography “Hons and Rebels” inspired JK Rowling to become a writer, and she named her daughter “Decca” after Jessica’s nickname. You are going to love these women.

Those lens flares look super tacky…

Horrible collection! Beyonce? Gross!
This collection looked like an Yves Saint Laurent rip off!!!!

A great deal of the YSL produced in your lifetime was at the hand of Tom, so that would be logical.

I was expecting a lot more from Mr. Ford considering this was his come back women’s collection….the best look hands down is the “Beyonce-outfit”. When is he going to directed another movie?….”A single man” was exquisite. The only way to describe it was like he brought the emotions of a spoken poem to moving images.

Soooooo bad… Why? Why?!
