This winter, everyone from San Francisco to Maine is feeling the chill. Indeed, here in New York we've experienced record lows in temperature, and it's not even January yet.

But with all the technical advances in fabric and production, you'd expect that we wouldn't have to rely on those bulky layers to stay toasty any longer. And you'd be right. From whisper-thin thermals that keep you warm to gloves that allow you to use a touch screen, there is a ton of great cold weather gear that also happens to be cute, too. So much, in fact, that we even devoted a holiday gift guide to all things stylish and tech-savvy.

Even if you live in warmer climes--we're jealous!--there is a ton of techie gear to scoop up. While high-end designers like Norma Kamali and Stella McCartney are getting in the game, showing sportswear-inspired looks on the runway, you can find everything--from vests that conceal your iPod to light-up sneakers--at your local mall. Which means achieving that high-tech, high-fashion look isn't too difficult after all.
