Fashionistas are getting younger and younger these days.

This past weekend, Sally Singer‘s T featured 13-year-old Chloë Grace Moretz, star of Kick-Ass and the forthcoming The Fields styled in a Wren tunic (Moretz wore it like a dress). She wore Chanel Resort to her last awards show. In Milan this past season Willow Smith made the rounds with mom Jada, sitting front row at Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo and Emporio Armani. And Emma Watson, a college sophomore, can do no wrong on the red carpet. Bloggers Tavi Gevinson and Jane Aldridge have proven that style doesn’t necessarily come with age or fame.

There are countless other stylish stars (movie and internet) who can’t legally drink but dress better than me. Here are our top 10 mini trendsetters.

Welcome back to @NoBtotheS‘s series on the suicide inducing habits of people in the fashion industry. (Editor’s note: If you’re not familiar with NoBtotheS, or No Bullshit, s/he is an anonymous fashion publicist working in New York City who’s famed for a hilarious Twitter account.)

This post is dedicated to the PRs who I call my friends, in the most sincere way. We shop, eat, drink, laugh, cry, and bitch together. This is for you- you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about.

1. Nonsensical RSVPs: Why am I receiving emails from your coordinator, RSVPing on your behalf to my agency’s event? You aren’t friends with the designer (or ME for that matter) so don’t be surprised if you get an email back from MY assistant beginning with “Due to the high volume of RSVPs and limited space…”

2. “Celebrity” PRs: Not to be confused with PRs who represent A-listers. I’m talking about PRs who mistake THEMSELVES for bold names. No one cares about you (ever) and demanding press mentions from your directors is desperate and needy. It’s just not a good look.

When I heard that I was going to interview Christy Turlington Burns, I immediately YouTubed George Michael’s “Freedom 1990” video for inspiration, which is of course the quintessential supermodel-meets-pop culture study. But that was 20 years ago. She has done so much since then, and her resume reads like that of a modern-day renaissance woman: model, yoga guru, clothing designer, mother, philanthropist, writer, director.

Christy’s newest venture is acting as the face and spokeswoman for Avon’s new fragrance, Slip Into, which will be released in 2011. The name is meant to be evocative of the moment a woman slips on a pair of high heels, and the feeling of empowerment and sophistication that goes along with it (and presumably without the twisted ankles and calluses).

The fragrance is an oriental floral, with notes of violet, orchid, and ambers, among other things. The bottle is inspired by the curve of a woman’s calf.

This afternoon, a small group of writers got to speak to her via phone, and we talked fragrance, beauty rituals, career, and philanthropy.

Chris,
I’m new to the fashion world as a fashion photographer and I’m working at a high fashion retailer, and I wanted to know how to match colors with people skin tones. What colors go well with light medium and dark skin tones?
FilmsterBen

Dear Filmster Ben -

We joke about it all the time at the studio, but if you want to invest in some home-grown 1980’s fashion knowledge, get yourself a copy of Color Me Beautiful immediately! I remember reading this as a kid to great discovery that I was an “Autumn.” Also makes for hilarious dinner conversation.

Over London Fashion Week, Heidi Mount’s husband Shawn was arrested on alleged rape charges. Shawn Mount, 30, a hairstylist who has worked for Vogue and on campaigns for Ralph Lauren, was accused of sexually assaulting a 24-year-old model at a West London Hotel on September 20.
