Teen Vogue Invites Bloggers to WWDMagic, Launches a Personal Style Blog Network
By Sarah Ferguson
Fashion industry trade shows can often be an overwhelming and tedious experience for attendees who must navigate through a thousand plus booths of designers, hawking their latest creations. This year, WWDMagic, the Las Vegas-based show, has partnered with Teen Vogue to bring the event to a much, much bigger audience.
They’ve invited 30 bloggers–including Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes and Erica Domesek of P.S. I Made This along with a slew of up-and-comers–to participate in panels, trend reporting, video segments, and competitions as part of a Blogger Concourse Lounge during the three day show (February, 14 – 16, 2011). Teen Vogue will also use the lounge to promote the launch of their personal style blogger network Fashion Click. (Lucky, by the way, is also launching its own blog network.)
Much like Tumblr’s own coverage of NYFW, coverage of the bloggers’ trip will be aggregated to one page: Wwdmagic.tumblr.com.

Wow. This is really cool information. It’s so exciting to see that a magazine like Teen Vogue is taking every-day bloggers and putting them right into the fashion world. It’s great to see that an online medium such as blogging can really put people right where they want to be, whether it be fashion or blogging about food!
Gateways industry trade can often be traumatic and burdensome for the participants who must travel more than one thousand traffic designers of his latest creations.
