First NARS Boutique To Open In NYC's West Village

NARS is so ubiquitous and popular you just naturally assume that there are boutiques all over the place. This is not the case. For the first time since launching the makeup brand 16 years ago, Francois Nars will be opening a namesake, stand-alone boutique. It officially opens on February 10 at 413 Bleecker Street in NYC’s West Village. Really, it’s the perfect hood for this brand. So now you can grab a cupcake at Magnolia, pop into one of the many Marc Jacobs stores, hit up a gay bar or two, then grab some eyeliner. Not necessarily in that order. The interior decor will apparently be a lot like the logo you see at the left. Black and pops of Jungle Red, one of the original 12 lipstick colors that launched Nars, will be the color scheme. You can get updates on NARS’ facebook page before the big launch.
