LVMH Says "Ole!"; Adds Ole Henriksen to Beauty Stable

LVMH has another posh beauty brand to add to its already impressive repertoire. Ole Henriksen will be joining Benefit, Make Up For Ever, and Fresh in LVMH’s beauty stable, LVMH announced today in a release. Ole Henriksen--the guy behind the eponymous brand--studied cosmetic chemistry and then started a spa in Hollywood. This led to his line of natural and botanical-based skin care, which is now sold in 22 different countries. Ole will retain his title of Visionary/Creative Director and his company will remain based in Los Angeles. Not surprisingly, taking-over-the-world beauty emporium Sephora (also owned by LVMH) will be used as a platform to “accelerate the brand’s worldwide expansion,” according to LVMH’s Group Managing Director, Antonio Belloni.
