Jeremy Laing

Laing, who once studied under Alexander McQueen, was born in Canada, and then grew up on an army base in Germany. Today he lives and creates his own collection in Toronto, Canada.

Why New York?: “New York is the closest major fashion market to Toronto, where I’m based. So, similar to the Antwerp designers in the ’90s, who decamped to Paris because it was close to home, logistically it makes sense for me to show in New York.”
