Vote for the Industry’s Web Savviest in Fashion 2.0′s Social Media Awards

It’s time for the second annual Fashion 2.0 Social Media Awards, where you can vote for your favorite fashion brands–and people–on the Web. We’ve compiled a list of the nominees, our predictions, and who we think should win, even if they won’t. Click here to vote for your favorites.

Best Online Video: Adidas Originals – Star Wars™ Cantina, Animating Chanel, Bluefly Closet Confessions, Lanvin Loves H&M, TheOutnet Big Preview
Who Will Win: Lanvin Loves H&M
Who Should Win: Lanvin Loves H&M or Prada
H&M and Lanvin did a brilliant job marketing their collaboration. The “secret designer” videos were pure genius. But Prada’s Spring 2011 video? It’s just so happy! And fun! And I want to buy everything! (Which is the point, right?)

Best Twitter: DKNY, Coach, Rachel Roy, Kate Spade, Bergdorf Goodman
Who Will Win: DKNY PR Girl
Who Should Win: DKNY PR Girl or Oscar PR Girl
Don’t get us wrong, each of these Twitter handles demand a ton of deserved attention. But DKNY PR Girl is best at driving her Twitter followers into other realms of the DKNY world. And OscarPRGirl, who surprisingly isn’t nominated, is best at refreshing a longtime favorite without messing with its DNA.

Best Facebook: Adidas, Armani, Ann Taylor, Gucci, Levi’s
Who Will Win: Levi’s
Who Should Win: : DvF
Facebook can really “engage” the reader, as we say in the digital world, and we feel like DvF’s page does this like no other with constant contests, updates, and a true community of followers.

Best Mobile App: Today’s Shoe by Bergdorf Goodman, DKNY Cozy, GoldRun, Gucci, Net-a-Porter
Who Will Win: Bergdorf Goodman
Who Should Win: : Bergdorf Goodman
Who doesn’t want to see a new shoe every day? (And if they can afford it, buy a new shoe every day?)

Best Blog by a fashion brand: 5th at 58th by Bergdorf Goodman, Bluefly Flypaper, DKNY Times, The ANTHROPOLOGiST by Anthropologie, Tory Burch
Who Will Win: ?
Who Should Win: : The ANTHROPOLOGIST by Anthropologie
We’d read this even if it wasn’t connect to Anthro. And that’s what makes it so special. It’s got some serious competition, though.

Best Website: Armani Jeans “The Room”, Alice + Olivia, Burberry, Chanel, Gucci
Who Will Win: Burberry or Gucci
Who Should Win: : Gucci
For the Gucci-obsessed customer, this site is an easy-to-navigate playground.

Next Big Thing in Tech: BigLive, Fashism, FashionGPS, ShopKick, Tumblr
Who Will Win: Tumblr
Who Should Win: : Tumblr
Brands will find Tumblr to be an even better marketing platform than Facebook or Twitter. Why? Because a picture tells a thousand words.

Top Innovator: Asos, Bergdorf Goodman, Burberry, DKNY, Ralph Lauren
Who Will Win: Bergdorf Goodman
Who Should Win: : Asos
Bergdorf’s recent collaboration with Polyvore was pretty brilliant, but Asos is changing the way people shop. The high-low brand mix is like nothing else we’ve seen on the web.
