Carine Roitfeld's tenure over Vogue Paris was dramatic, to say the least, and her final issue as EIC does not disappoint. Starring the androgynous model of the moment, Saskia de Brauw, on the cover shot by Mert and Marcus, Roitfeld's final Vogue is a testament to all the aspects that made her a beloved editor and stylist.
One thing that stands out is Carine's ability to see the future of fashion, or to be well-connected enough to know what's happening next. The March issue was on stands at the end of February, but it was already filled with the trends from AW11 fashion month. From snakeskin to new model Hanaa ben Abdesslem to a feature on Givenchy AW11 muse Amanda Lear, Carine's Vogue Paris was always one step ahead of the game.
