Horyn didn’t complain about reviewing shows, she complained about the walk to the show through the Tuileries with hundreds of people ready with cameras. I doubt they are there to get a shot of her but I’m sure it is still unnerving.
Yeah, I’ve done it too. So has every. single. person. who works in the industry.
I wouldn’t liken yourself to Horyn in. any. way.
Is that a compliment or a slight?
I can’t tell. :/
Even tho Lauren deleted my post the other day (-glares-), I’m still somewhat defensive of her. She’s like mama-bird of this site.
BTW, when I read Sophie Dahl’s new baby’s name, I thought it said “Lycra”, initially.
I don’t understand why it is a “walk of shame” for Horyn. She is very respected in the industry, and people usually don’t bother her. If someone asked her a beauty question, it’s because they recognized her as an influential NYT writer.
