Best Dressed: Royal Wedding Edition

Saturday, Apr 30, 2011 / 2:30 PM

We’re still not over the royal wedding. Kate Middleton, now offically the Duchess of Cambridge, was obviously the show stopper in her two Sarah Burton for McQueen wedding dresses, but everyone else dressed to the nines, too. It was hard to choose but here are 10 others including members of the royal wedding party, perfectly topped Princesses, celebs, socialites, and politicians wives that we thought looked pretty damn posh.

SamCam looks great! I can’t believe the fuss the British media is making over her too-casual outfit. I think she looks funky and chic. She’s wearing Burberry and Erdem, so who cares if she opted not to wear a hat?

agree!

Hahaha. This looks so corny its great. The wedding was a success in many aspects including the fashion side. Fashion lovers rejoice!

The only one I like of these 5 is Prince Harry. SamCam’s dress was indeed too boring and she seems awkward with that clashing orange scarf. Okay for lunch somewhere but not an historic event. The mother’s dress was so dated, truly anachronistic. Pippa was ridiculous. Come on, that might be fine for the Oscars but not an historic royal wedding in Westminster Abbey! Inappropriate in every way. William totally washed out the bride, which wasn’t difficult to do in that nondescript dress, but the garish red uniform which works for the palace guards was too much. As I said, Harry looked the best of anyone.

Princess Letizia’s dress was from a Spanish designer whose name I forgot.

Plus, it should be “Victoria Beckham in Navy Blue Blanket”.
