Prince William will wear his military uniform on his wedding day. He’s recently been approved for his first honorary military appointment as a Colonel of the Irish Guards. This is relevant because with that appointment comes a new spiffy formal uniform–”a scarlet-red jacket and black pants with scarlet-red piping” according to Yahoo!–that some are speculating he might wear on the big day. He also won’t wear a wedding ring, the Daily Mail is reporting. The Brit tabloid has it from sources that “the Prince discussed the issue with his fiancée but has chosen not to. ‘It is simply down to personal preference,’ an aide said.”
