Sarah Burton:
It’s safe to say that the McQueen designer is the favorite among fashion folk. Alexandra Shulman, editor of Vogue UK, told the Sunday Times that she’s crossing her fingers that Kate chooses a bold McQueen dress for her trip down the aisle. Diane Von Furstenberg and Daphne Guinness have also cast their votes for Burton.

Aside from the fact that we know Burton can create a killer white dress, royal ties make her a strong candidate. Burton designed the wedding dress of Sara Buys, a fashion journalist who married Camilla Parker Bowls’ son, making her Prince Williams’ stepsister.

Though Burton and McQueen reps have fervently denied the rumors, there have been reports that seamstresses at the house have been arriving especially early of late.
