Prada’s spring collection is so vibrant and distinctive we couldn’t help but notice that it seemed to be on every magazine cover since January. The collection, in fact, can be seen on 48 glossy covers so far. But we figured Dolce & Gabbana’s spring collection was giving Prada a run for its money. And indeed they are. Dolce & Gabbana’s Sicilian wedding trousseau collection has landed 42 covers to date (that we’ve counted).
Most notably, Emmanuelle Alt put Gisele in one of Dolce & Gabbana’s sheer white lace dresses for her first cover as EIC of Vogue Paris. It was the same dress that graced covers of Vogue Spain and Vogue Germany.
So if you’re keeping score that’s: Prada, 48; Dolce & Gabbana, 42. Gucci’s up next.
Take a look. Dolce & Gabbana has racked up an impressive tally of Vogue covers, and Elle seems to love the collection too. What are your favorites?

The Lily Donaldson Harpers Bazaar cover was also re-used for the Chinese version of Harpers Bazaar…so 43?
The Lily Donaldson cover has actually been re-used 8 times (at the least) by international editions of Harper’s Bazaar, so I don’t think it would be fair to count cover reprints. :)
That’s what I was figuring – thanks Dana!
43 and counting? I love them all! Such a stunning collection.
