The original mom jean definitely deserves a makeover, since it seems that the dark wash bootcut style of 2002-2004 has become the new mom jean. I don’t think the pin thin skinny jeans or the palazzo flowey widelegs that came after will ever be adopted as the mom jean, so it will be interesting to see what happens next.
