From Nars to Sephora.
Image Title1

We spend a lot of time around the office discussing our favorite items, from shoes to bags to whatever look book happens to be around. Sometimes the best way to find a new product is to have a friend turn you on to it. With that in mind, we’ve rounded up all of our favorite beauty products, in no particular order. Nars, MAC, and Clinique are popular in our office, and our beauty purchasing is very high/low, ranging from Tom Ford to Neutrogena from the drugstore. And like most women, we have some things to which we’re very loyal, and some that get transitioned in and out. Scroll below to see our top picks, and tell us about your beloved products--we’re always looking for ideas.

Lauren: Nars Orgasm Blush: Every beauty editor uses this, and there's a reason why. It is universally flattering and looks great with any lipstick.

Benefit Benetint: My first "luxury" beauty buy--I think it was 9th grade. I love blush, and this gives your cheeks and lips an incredibly rosy flush. So pretty.

Clinique Perfectly Real Makeup: A famous makeup artist introduced me to this. I know a lot of people are anti-foundation, but I prefer it to cover up because my issue is uneven skin tone, not acne. Most people don't believe I wear foundation, and I think that says it all.

Pretty Feet & Hands: This stuff really, truly sloughs off dry skin in between manicures and

Leah: Clinique Quickliner in Smoky Brown: It goes on so smoothly and the color is not quite as severe as black. It's so good that last week I braved the lines at Sephora in SoHo to restock.

Nars "The Multiple" in Orgasm: It's blush, eye shadow, lipstick, whatever you want. I use it as blush (and everyone knows Orgasm is the best makeup color ever.)

Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener: I have serious luggage under my eyes that doesn’t go away, even if I do get a lot of sleep (which I don't). This is the only product I've found that sort of helps.

Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer (spf 15): It’s light, not greasy at all, but so good. It also has SPF--very important!

L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lipcolor in "Beyonce’s Red:" Really. It's bright red lipstick that really really does not come off, ever.

Givenchy Le Prisme Visage pressed powder: I got it as swag and don't know if I'll be able to cough up $45 to replace it. But it's so good I might do it.

Cheryl: Nars "Multiple" in Orgasm: What Leah said. It perks your face up like nothing else--short of a real orgasm, that is.

Sonia Kashuk Eye Shadow Palette in Sweet Nothings: Yes, it’s cheap and it's from Target. I’m always on the lookout for perfect neutrals, and this one is. It isn’t too sparkly but has just enough sheen.

Skinceuticals C E Ferulic: Derms recommend that you use a retinol product and an antioxidant serum. The vitamin C in this one is potent and the formula is very stable. It smells really weird, but I ignore it because it makes my skin luminous.

Diorshow Mascara: I counted 11 open

Steff: Bath and Body Works There's the Rub Salt Scrub: It's inexpensive (compared to other salt scrubs) and it leaves you feeling smooth and silky during winter. Added bonus: Hamlet reference.

MAC Lipstick in Dubonnet: It is the perfect blood red, and it stays on forever. If you have olive skin and dark hair like me, it should be your go-to shade. (Beauty editor note: No one wears red lips as beautifully as Steff. No one.)

Philosophy Purity Face Wash: Your face will feel squeaky clean after using Purity. It creates perfect skin without being abrasive. Buy the foaming version because it helps make sure you don't use too much or too little.

Label M Sea Salt Spray: So good it was only available to stylists for years, Label M Sea Salt Spray hit the market last year. More than just your average salt spray, Label M's spray has a touch of hairspray which means your beachy locks will stay intact for hours longer than with the average formula.

Sephora Collection Long Lasting Eyeliner: This is the best liquid eyeliner at the best price. When they say long lasting, they mean it; It stays on for at least 12 hours without smudging a bit. And it's only $10.

Sarah: Nars lipstick in Jungle Red: I love wearing lipstick as an accessory and this bright orangy-red lipstick is a statement piece. Plus, it doesn't come off or bleed so it's perfect for a night out.

Essie nail polish in Nice is Nice: Essie is my favorite nail polish because it always goes on smoothly and lasts a long time. Every time I wear this lavender color and I'm feeling stressed out or blue, I just look at my nails and it cheers me right up!

Urban Decay Loves New York Palette: I'm obsessed with NYC and not only does this palette have every color you'll ever need--from sparkly neutrals, bright blues and greens, to classic browns and pinks, but there's also pop-up scene of New York that lights up!

L'Oreal Paris EverStrong Sulfate Free Shampoo/Conditioner: I have unruly curly hair and sulfate free products have really changed my hair's life--making it smoother and frizz-free, but most of the products are expensive. The L'Oreal sulfate-free line works really well and won't hurt your wallet.

Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Mascara: This mascara is amazing--you'll feel like you're wearing false lashes. The brush is a small ball of spikes which helps you get to every lash, even the ones in the corner of your eyelid.
