Coach Poppy is continuing its love affair with all things girly by introducing a second Poppy fragrance. This one, called Poppy Flower, is–as you may have guessed–more floral than the original Poppy. It’s still a fruity floral, but softer and more romantic.
In spite of gloomy weather outside, Coach managed to create an overflowing, indoor spring garden earlier this week to introduce beauty editors to the newest bloom in Coach’s bouquet. We all got to make flower arrangements and nibble on treats while different scent strips were passed around. Coach cited a study that found when women were handed a bouquet of flowers, 100% of them smiled. Not so sure that would have been the case with my homely bouquet, but it was fun nonetheless.
Poppy Flower is a mix of wet ivy, citrus, lychee, cassis, jasmine petals, water lily, rose, peony, sugared raspberry, amberwood, musk, apricot skin and sandalwood. The overall impression? Fresh, fun, and flowery.
The scent hits stores in August and will come in different sizes of eau de parfum, a body lotion, and a rollerball. Prices range from $22 to $80.
