We have a serious girl crush on Adriana Lima, and not just because she drew our name in a $500 Victoria’s Secret gift card raffle yesterday. (Although, yeah, that was awesome. But accidental. And I digress…)

At Thursday’s Victoria’s Secret Bombshell event in Soho, the Angel rocked a devilishly tight black mini and heavy kohl eyeliner for the 2pm gathering. Clearly the girl’s got a bit of goth side, and we dig it.

But while Adriana favors sexier designers like Dolce & Gabanna and sports “midnight black” nail polish all summer, she’s also got sweetness in spades. The Brazilian model was nothing but smiles as we caught up with her about how she’ll be using the new Bombshell beach products and swimwear.

“I’m a mom,” she laughed, “I have a one-year-old kid, so I don’t see myself on the beach as pretty—I see myself running after her!”

Hopefully, though, Adriana will be able to catch daughter Valentina for a few quiet moments. Ideally, the supermodel would love to relax at her Miami beach house for a bit this summer. “I’d be with my husband,” she envisioned. “And I’d probably be reading The Little Prince to my daughter Valentina. And that’s it. Just chilling!”

But don’t count on it. Like mom, Valentina loves the ocean. “She cries when I bring her out of the water! She just loves it.” So does that mean little Valentina be the next big swimsuit model? “Whatever she wants, whatever makes her happy! I’m here to support her.”

Judging by how gorgeous Adriana was as a kid, we’d guess her little girl’s got the genes to follow in her footsteps. Or, you know, wings.
