Carven, the storied French fashion house revitalized in just two years by industry darling Guillaume Henry, might have to go public over the next year if its crazy sales growth continues.

"If our sales continue to grow like this (in double digits), we will have to consider several options... Floating could be one of them, or finding partners," Carven CEO Henri Sebaoun said at Reuters' luxury conference on Wednesday.

There is only one reason a fashion brand goes public, and that's to get bigger. Over the last three seasons, Henry has not only developed a cultish following amongst female fashion editors for his "affordable couture" wares, but he's also launched a shoe collection and is now taking over the reins of the house's menswear line. We look forward to documenting this house's epic rise from the dust.
