The First Kate Middleton Knockoff Wedding Gowns and Accessories Hit Stores; Here Are the Good, the Bad and the Ugly
By Cheryl Wischhover
No one has really gone after the tiara yet, but we’re sure Accessorize will do a version, possibly incorporating a Union Jack somehow. Kate’s simple drop earrings will probably never be as recognizable as that huge sapphire engagement ring, but if you want to get the look right down to the details, Carolee can help you. Kenneth Jay Lane will have a version availiable by tonight on QVC.

its astounding how fast they churn these knockoffs out but i can imagine how lucrative this business is right now and the time to come.

The dress itself is a knockoff, or shall we say ‘inspired’. Have you seen the 50′s gowns out there?

The only thing designed was the skirt. The pleats on the train were amazing, however the top? Total vintage knock-off (although lovely)
Most of these horrible dresses are not even knockoffs, having missed most of the structure of the gown – particularly the details of the skirt, which made the bride’s waist look really tiny. The lace boleros really have nothing to do with the style of the McQueen gown. They are a good budget idea for brides who want the look of sheer lace arms – they use little fabric so you can have something made in good quality lace to go over any number of generic white strapless dresses.
very impressive wedding ~~~
